Bill moderatelylong, nearly straight, and dusk3-black, leaden-greyon the sides. Irides dark brown. Head and uj^perpart of neck in front, nape, and all back of neckdark reddish-brown. The sides and back of headare glossed with purple. Back, wing shoulders,and parts in front of them, grey; wing tertialselongated, black in the centre, and bordered withwhite and grey; greater coverts ash-brown tipped.
