Merville Barracks, Colchester, Essex, UK. 13th Jul, 2021. A presentation of new colours for the British Army Parachute Regiment took place at their Merville Barracks base in Colchester, with a flypast of veteran and current Royal Air Force and British Army aircraft. A Boeing Stearman and two Tiger Moth biplanes were followed by two Army Air Corps Apaches and an Airbus A400M transport plane. A parachute drop then followed onto the base. Colonel In Chief, The Prince of Wales presented the new Colours to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Battalions of The Parachute Regiment.
