The follow-ing year the town of Collison was estab-lished, about twenty acres of his land beingincluded within the town plat. He built thefirst buildings there, a dwelling and a black-smith shop, and later he erected a brickbuilding and a store building. During thelast three years he has rented all of his landwith the exception of his pastures. Forsome years he has been extensively engagedin the stock business, buying, feeding andshipping.
