Dervishes in a display of nationalism


As part of the ceremonies held to mark the battles of the Dardanelles ( to ), an order of Sufi dervishes gather to do their own thing. It seems that the Turkish victory was at least in part owed to them as they had prayed for it at the still, it seemed a bit odd on the part of a religious order devoted to peace at least within and monastic communication with a higher entity
