Unionists from the Trades Union Congress, the umbrella body for various British unions gathered along with expatriate Turks outside the Turkish embassy in London to protest against the ongoing crackdown by the Turkish government following rioting in Istanbul and Ankara. They also demonstrated against Turkish Airlines and DHL for firing union members, saying that the right to strike is a human right.
