The descent of this great and illustrious family is set forth underthe title of Howard Duke of Norfolk, vol. i, p. 108, where it isobserved, that Thomas the fourth Duke, marrying to his secondwife Margaret, daughter and sole heir to Thomas Lord Audley,of Walden, Knight of the Garter, had issue Lord Thoaias Howard,heir to his mothers estate.
