Seldom have we seen a plant so charming and free-bloom- ing. During our past dry summer it was never out of flower, while geraniums alongside of it were perishing. Plants barely a few inches high bear from ten to twenty bold, long spikes, completely crowded with showy scar- let, drooping flowers, peristently produced from May un- til late autumn, when they can be brought in for winter blooming. It is also a good bedding plant, grown singly or in masses; does well on poor soil, moist or dry, and will probably prove hardy. Can also be grown from seed. We have it. 15 cents each; $ per dozen.
