Later, he was chosenclerk of the Ward and secretary of theSunday school, and of the Y. M. M. , holding these positions with creditfor a number of years. From Decem-ber, 1886, to March, 1896, he was a Sab-bath school missionary in the Salt LakeStake of Zion, and from Jan. 1, 1888, toMarch, 1896, he was treasurer and as-sistant secretary of the Stake Sundayschool organization. He has been amember of the Y. M. M. I. A., and mostof the time a regular attendant, sincethe time of its first organization, andin succession has filled every official. jiosition in the association—having act-ed as assistant secretary, librarian, or-ganist, musical director, counselor andpresident.
