It is without either wing, bars or tail blotches, but has spots of black on the crown, black sides of neck, and a yellow spot in front of the eye. Female lacks the black of the head, and the necklace is made up of dusky spots. It is generally to be found in the same localities as No. 38 and has about the same habits.
