The Kvaesthus Urban Space and Ofelia Plads (Ofelia Square) on the former Ofelia Beach area - inaugurated 29th June 2016 - is part of the Kvaesthus Project on and around the Kvaesthus Pier in the old part of Copenhagen called Frederiksstaden situated close to and opposite the Royal Danish Playhouse and not far from the Royal Opera House. The area will be used for various events, entertainments and performances and urban activities in many forms. Underneath the pier is an underground three-storied car park for 500 cars.
