Coast Guard Cutter Jacob Poroo was commissioned December 8, 2017. The Jacob Poroo is a Sentinel-class fast response cutter that is homeported in Pascagoula, Mississippi, but will operate throughout the vast and unique area of the Coast Guard’s Eighth Coast Guard photo by Petty Officer 3rd Class Lexie Preston.
