NOSTRADAMUS - EVENTS PROPHECIED. Among the many verses Nostradamus wrote about the coming of Napoleon is quatrain 8:1 (published in 1557). In this the prophet wrote of Napoleon's escape from Elba, and hinted at the hundred days which ended in Napoleon being taken by the British on the Bellerophon, into permanent and final exile.
