Snorkeler and Tahitian Stingrays (Himantura fai)


A snorkeler interacts with stingrays during a snorkel excursion near the island of Moorea. The Tahitian stingrays are known by the common name of Pink whipray (Himantura fai) . It is a common practice in Tahiti to allow ray-feeding activities for tourists.
