Spc. Pelesala Faleseu, ammunition specialist, 1st Theater Sustainment Command stationed on Fort Knox, Kentucky. Faleseu's mother is from American Samoa and his father is from Western Samoa. Falseu said, “Samoans are big on God and family.” May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, a celebration of the innumerable contributions, vibrant cultures, and rich heritage of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders in the United States.
