Manchester, UK. 9th March, 2014. Around 1000 people marched through Manchester city centre against the controversial method of hydraulic fracturing, a process designed to extract gas from tight geology. The demonstration, organised by Frack Free Greater Manchester (FFGM) was called to oppose fracking in Greater Manchester, or anywhere else, and was as a message of solidatity with the campers at Barton Moss in Salford, where drilling began in October 2013.
