Water drop impact. Computer artwork of secondary drop formation after the impact of a falling drop in a pool of water. After cratering, the surface of the pool collapses with the inward-rushing water colliding and rising to form a column. Along the column, water surface tension effects create secondary drops. Ripples of water radiate outwards in concentric circles.
