Dermographism. Red lines on the face and neck of a 35-year-old woman in a case of dermographism, also known as dermatographic urticaria. This is an allergic reaction where the skin is hypersensitive to touch. Normally this sort of allergic response is only associated with some irritants but in dermatographism any object can evoke a response. This case was caused by eating a Thai meal.
