Josef Weisz(1894 - ?)- a national eagle,with extended wings,bronze,hollow,dimensions 240 x 95 cm. The swastika is sawn out of the crest,the fixation base is missing. A bullet hole of a small-calibre arm in the left wing. This eagle was mounted to a pylon of the Adolf-Hitler-Brücke,later Hohe-Flut-Brücke or Berliner-Brücke,in Kulmbach. The bridge structure was inaugurated on October 15th 1934 in the presence of Gauleiter Hans Schemm. The swastika has been removed from the eagle's crest in 1945,and later the pylon was put down.
