3 red buddhas sitting above deity figurines, joss sticks and incense burners, Pak Sing Ancestral Hall, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong
Tai Ping Shan Street, south of Hollywood Road, is situated in one of the first areas of Hong Kong to be settled by Chinese from the mainland in the early days of colonial rule. The recently renovated Pak Sing Ancestral Hall was founded in 1856 to house the ancestor tablets Chinese settlers brought with them from the mainland. The Hall has shrines to both taoist and buddhist deities.
