Romanesque tower. XIII-XIVth centuries. Llançà.

Romanesque tower. XIII-XIVth centuries. Llançà. It is the only architectural element that is preserved in the ancient church of San Vincente which was initially attached to the tower. After construction of the new church (seventeenth century), the Tower kept waiting to be used for the construction of a new bell for the new parish. This fact did not occur until the early twentieth century. Until then, the Romanesque bell tower had functions of llançanenca vila, becoming, over time, in a sign of identity of the city. It is characterized by rectangular of about 6 m. from north to south and m. from east to west, with regard to its external action. Its height is 21 m.
