Historic cannons of Fort Altingsburg and Baitul Hilal Bukit Malawati, Kuala Selangor, Malaysia.

The latticed building at the summit of Bukit Melawati was constructed for religious authorities to sight the new moon to set the time for the start of Ramadan and Shawwal. The guns are older, all that remain of Fort Altingsburg, rebuilt and renamed by the Dutch in the 18th century to protect the Straits of Malacca.
