A member of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5 discuss methods for conducting limpet detection and disposal dives with members of the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) on the JS Uruga in the Sea of Hyuga while participating in the 3JA Mine Countermeasures Exercise on Nov. 20, 2016. 3JA is an annual bilateral exercise held between the Navy and JMSDF to strengthen interoperability and increase proficiencies in mine countermeasure operations.
