Two miles below this is atown and large castle called Kirkcudbriglit, connnonly calledKirkoubry. Here in the liarbour, at the mouth of the Dee, Fleet. ^ The three nionntains are distinguished in a local distich as— Caimsmuir o Fleet, Cairnsmuir o Dee,Cairnsmuir o Carsphairn, the biggest o a the three.^ Nith. • Cardonncss.
