Portsmouth, Va. (March 25, 2017) About 100 pediatric health care providers who care for military children in Tidewater listen to one of the morning speakers during the inaugural Tidewater Military Pediatric Symposium at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. With the goal of improving communication between facilities, the pediatric symposium was open to doctors, nurses and members of the multidisciplinary care team who treat pediatric patients at any of the military treatment facilities in the Tidewater region.
