One of the hidden places of Oxford, England. Even after decades of exploring this famous, historic town, I am still finding unexpected and surprising places that tourists will never see. This dark and threatening spot is under the main railway line from Oxford to Reading and London. The clearance here is so limited that you have to crouch to avoid knocking yourself out. Above lies Rewley Road; below is a tributary of the Thames, joining that river at Botley to Isis Lock, Castle Mill Stream and the Oxford Canal.
