Skin health analysis scanning. Cosmetic skincare patient having the skin on their face scanned by a skin health analysis system. Different scanning modes, viewing up to two millimetres below the surface, allow a computer-based assessment of the skin's health. The photographs taken are colour (normal), blood vessels (vascular), melanin (skin pigment), and sun damage (collagen levels). The technology used is spectrophotometric intracutaneous analysis (SIAscopy). This scanner is the Beau Visage system, developed by the Astron Clinica company.
