View of Loch Lomond from the Point of Firkin

The view is taken looking towards Dumbarton. Loch Lomond is the largest and most beautiful of the Caledonian Lochs. On passing the point of Firkin a great expanse of water is seen. On the other side are craggy mountains or wood covered areas right to the water’s edge. The image was drawn by A Callander and engraved by S Middiman
