An Ottoman silver lustreware dish, 1923/1928. In the centre a hand-painted portrayal of the Valide Mosque (Valide Camii) in the Aksaray district of Istanbul. Fine cloisonné gilt border with crescent-shaped cartouches of inscriptions and flowers. On the gilt reverse three hallmarks (among them a control stamp from 1923/28). Diameter cm, weight kg.
