The ABYSSINIAN ORIBI (Oribia montana).Facko and Mhvaka, Abyssinian. Mori or Loylk, Dinka. Very similar in most characters to the typical species, but with ashorter and less bushy tail, the tip of which has only a few sparseblack hairs. Height at shoulder, 22 to 23 inches. These antelopesare shy and rarely seen in the open, preferring the thick bush and longgrass. If disturbed, they go at a great pace with their heads quiteclose to the ground. The flesh is good.
