HOUSTON (Nov. 9, 2018) Navy Aviation Boatswain Mate 2nd Class Alex Williams, a recruiter form Navy Recruiting District (NRD) Houston, hands retired Houston Rockets champion Mario Antoine Elie a dry wall screw while working together to rebuild a home during the 2018 Hoops for Troops community service event. Hoops for Troops is a year-round initiative led by the NBA to honor active and retired service members, and their families. Rockets alumni and staff members joined military personnel to help restore two homes that were damaged during Hurricane Harvey, August 2017.
