Keep in a temperature between 60° and 70° and water regularly and carefully. When the seeds have germinated remove the glass. When large enough to handle, transplant one inch apart in a similarly prepared box where they may be kept until time to set outdoors. STARTING SEED OUTDOORS. A fine seed bed is necessary and the seed should not be planted deeper than four times their size. CLASSIFICATION. Annual flowers grow from seed, bloom, and die in one year.
