A flintlock pistol, Giovanni Botti in Brescia. 1st half of the 18th century. Two-stage barrel, fluted breech section, octogonal then round after a baluster with smooth bore in 13 mm calibre, inscribed "Lazarino Cominazzo" on the top. Folding rear sight on the tang. Flintlock cut with vine work and mythical creatures, and signed on the lockplate. Walnut full stock with horn nose cap. Gilt brass furniture. Wooden ramrod with horn tip. Iron parts somewhat stained.
