FORT IRWIN, Calif. – Soldiers from Blackjack Troop, 1st Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, defend their position in the town of Barasu in the National Training Center while attempting to recapture the city held by the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Regiment, Feb. 20, 2017. The counterattack by the 11th ACR challenged the 2/1 ABCT to combat a well-equipped and formidable opponent while defending an urban objective.
