Telephone lines have not yet reached every home andbusiness place, especially in the eastern part of the district,but the lines are constantly being extended. Opportunities for boating, bathing, fishing and life inthe open air attract large numbers of people to the shores ofLake Ontario where summer hotels and boarding housesfurnish suitable comforts.
