Production of proteins by the translation of messenger DNA helix messenger RNA, or fragment of DNA, made up of the succession of ordered bases called sequences, combines from one of the strands of the helix (transcribed strand). It's the transcript. It leaves the nucleus through its ports, passes into the ribosomes which decipher them in batches of 3 successive bases (codon) each giving an amino acid which recombined will give a protein. It is the translation.
