The pattern has two alternating symmetrical compositions, each in a horseshoe-shaped cartouche. One composition consists of a palette under a v-shaped canopy. The other composition consists of a basket with a more or less triangular flower arrangement and above it two diagonally placed loose tulips. The motifs are connected by a lattice ground.
