PI. {Double-flowered Drop-wort) Numer- ous corymbs of double white flowers on stems 15 inches high, during June and July, and pretty fern-like foliage. Palmata {Crimson Meadow Sweet). One of the most beautiful hardy plants, the deep purple-red of the stems and branches passing into the crimson-purple of the broad corymbs of flowers, which are produced very freely during June and July; 3 feet. — Elegans. A free-flowering pure white with protruding pink anthers. Ulmaria PI. PI. {Meadow Sweet). Grows about 3 feet high, and produces its large double white flowers during June and July.
