PUBLICITY CIRCULAR No. 4 A Statement in Behalf ofHoods Milk In the past few weeks much has been said in the newspapers andelsewhere against the methods employed by certain milk dealers, whohave been designated by the indiscriminate title of The Boston Con-tractors. As the business that we do is a very large one, is principallycentered in the City of Boston, and is sometimes described as that of amilk contractor, we fear that persons reading these reports who are un-familiar with the methods that we employ in securing, collecting andhandling milk, may believe that they refer among others to us. For thatreason we submit to you this short statement of fact so that you can judgefor yourself whether there is anything that we should do that we are notdoing to provide our customers with the best milk obtainable, and at reason-able prices. HOODS MILK We buy our milk from selected dairies in Massachusetts, New Hamp-shire, Maine, Vermont and a small section of New York east of the HudsonRiver.
