Paris hospital. 15th-century artwork of nuns and patients in an early medieval hospital in Paris, France. This is the Hotel-Dieu de Paris, founded in 651, the oldest hospital in Paris. Some of the beds have two patients in them. This artwork, from 'Le livre de la Vie Active Religieuses de l'Hotel-Dieu de Paris' (1483).
