A heavy storm is rolling in this afternoon and through tomorrow with a "Yellow" weather warning for "snow and lightning". Ahead of the main band of weather there was a soft pinkish light across the freshly fallen snow of the first band, more was falling as I took this photograph looking up the A9 across the Cromarty Bridge (and Cromarty Firth) into Easter Ross.
