A step plate is located on each side, and four metal fenders are placed over the wheels. Oil head- lights and taillight supplied illumination. This car was in use up through 1941, and came to the Museum in 1944 upon the death of the owner. The Mu- seum purchased new inner tubes for the tires in about 1950. In early 1956 the car was returned to Lansing, Mich., where it was repainted in black, and reupholstered in tufted black leather by the Oldsmobile Division of Gen- eral Motors Corporation.
