Japan Ground Self-Defense Force members provide security Mar. 11, at Kin Blue, Okinawa, Japan. Staying camouflaged was a key part of the mission, ensuring the JGSDF don’t get detected by the simulated enemy force. The JGSDF observed Marines with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, conducting raid missions, amphibious training and scout swimmer classes. The JGSDF members are with the 43rd Infantry Regiment, 8th Division, Western Army. ( Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Isaac Ibarra/Released)
