Am Ploc open air preaching site at the head of Upper Loch Torridon used by Dissenters in the 19th century. Highland, Scotland, UK

Am Ploc open air preaching site at the head of Upper Loch Torridon was used by the newly established Free Church of Scotland after the Disruption of 1843 when Dissenters were refused regular places of worship. The view looks northwards at three rows of stone seating below the rock pulpit formed by a fissure in the outcrop. These are all enclosed within the natural ampitheatre by a dry stone wall on the seaward side. The entrance is on the far right.
