A silver-mounted officer's sword, revolutionary period Heavily corroded single-edged blade. Silver knuckle-bow hilt with a symmetrical guard plate decorated with volutes. The rear quillon with silver hallmarks on the reverse side. Grip with silver ferrules and replaced wire winding. Finely worked pommel in the shape of an antique helmet ornamented with laurels. Leather scabbard with silver mountings. Length 102 cm. Cf.
