The Palazzo dei Normanni or Royal Palace of Palermo is located in the historic centre of Sicily's capital, Palermo. It was the seat of the Kings of Sicily during the medieval period of Norman domination and served afterwards as the main seat of power for all subsequent rulers of Sicily. It remains thus to this day, as the seat of the Sicilian Regional Assembly of Government, the main chamber of which is shown here.
