An 1893 engraving simply labelled 'The main mosque in Algiers', Algeria. It is probably the original Ketchaoua Mosque aka جامع كتشاوة or Djamaa Ketchaoua originally built in 1612 , Converted to the Cathedral of St Philippe by the French and later demolished at some time before 1860. --- Alternatively, the image may represent the Djamaa el Kebir or الجامع الكبير, also known as the Great Mosque of Algiers ( Grande mosquée d'Alger in French).
