Almedalen (site of the former Hanseatic harbour), Visby, Gotland, Sweden.

Originally a harbour in Hanseatic times, it has since been filled in and is now a park. The city walls are long and 27 out of the original 29 towers remain. It is in two sections; the sea wall, which was built first, commencing about the middle of the 13 century, and the land wall. That shown in this picture is part of the old sea wall.
