The White Star public house, 2 Rainford Gardens in the Cavern Quarter of Liverpool. The Beatles are said to have frequented it after playing in the original cavern a few yards away in Matthew Street. Formerly a ships chandlers at the height of the Liverpool Docks trade, it became a public house and is named after the White Star shipping company which eventually merged into Cunard.
