A model 1881 officers presentation shashqa, slightly curved, single-edged blade (minor rust pitting) with fullers on both sides. Manufacturer's inscription "Zlatoust, Weapons Factory 1898" etched on the obverse, surrounded by a floral cartouche and with a beautifully engraved Cyrillic dedication, "Our Company Commander Vassily Georgevich Ratshinskomu in Commemoration of the Company anniversary on 2 February 1900, from his Subordinates of the 15th Company of the Warsaw Fortress Artillery".
