Cytinus hypocistis. This parasitic plant is found in small clumps at soil level living on and near the roots of Cistus plants. C. hypocistis has no leaves, but here has carmine bracts with yellow flowers in clusters. The colours are dependent on the host plant. Photographed in Andalucia, Spain.
